Parent Leadership Programme

Townley Grammar School has been a leading school on student leadership with many innovative and exciting programmes. We are now offering parents the opportunity to hear from our partner in much of this enterprise, Ben Walden. Ben has been training our students in leadership for the last 6 years. He leads the Townley Leadership Programme for sixth form, which has seen many of our students progress to leadership positions in and beyond school.

Ben is an international speaker and workshop leader in the realm of education. He has been a main keynote speaker at many conferences in Europe, Asia, the Amercias and Australia. He also works with many individual schools, looking at themes of leadership and inspiring communication with both staff and, especially, students. In the 1990's he played several leading roles in London's West End theatre and as a member of the inaugural company at the new Shakespeare's Globe. He has also spoken on leadership and the arts at many business conferences, including at both Harvard and Columbia Business Schools.

We are now able to offer parents and staff to hear from Ben on how we can be better parent leaders and the importance of leadership skills for our young people. Come and join us for an evening with Ben; we are sure you will find it engaging and inspiring!
